Jason noted Tufte's essay on PowerPoint, one of my least favorite communication tools, and the New York Times had an article in this week's sunday magazine.

My favorite PowerPoint bash is here. I think it sums it up quite nicely.

(My least favorite communication tool is Excel when used as an organizer rather than a spreadsheet. Ever try to compare two Excel sheets to see what changed? Maybe there is an easy way, but I haven't come accross it yet. The solution I had to deal with is require the author of the sheet to mark changes in red. Then you have to go searching for red things. I prefer to be event driven, getting just changes, rather than polling, having to find changes...)
