The upcoming release of JRockit will contain a new, completely killing, tool for memory leak detection. It allows you to (among many other things) to profile an application running in production with (almost) zero overhead (without shutting it down or any preparation whatsoever). Bill Burke and Dion Almaer has already blogged about it. If you are interested to find out more, we have set up a webinar demo that anyone can join. Drop me an email at [jboner AT gmail DOT com] and I will send you the 'dial in info'. ------ ---------------------------- Web Meeting --------------------------------- When: Wednesday, March 23, 2005 10:00 AM-11:00 AM (GMT-07:00) Arizona. Hi Jonas, I missed the webinar. Can you put up the slides or the .ppt for the webinar somewhere ? thank you very much, BR, --Anjan Bacchu, April 7, 2005 04:46 AM
Hi Jonas, DION : "If you are on Intel, I think that you will be running on a JRockit JVM. And, they are working on other platforms too. I really want the JRockit team to do a screencast that we can put up to show you how cool this stuff is" So, when is the screencast coming ? I can't wait to introduce this at our company. thank you, BR, --Anjan Bacchu, April 7, 2005 04:50 AM
