RSS reader should diff updates

I'm using SharpReader and I don't whether the following is true for other readers. Whenever a blog entry is updated by its author it appears in bold (indicating a change) and in italic (indicating that it's an update). However I have no clue what modifications were done to the entry and most of the time I don't have enough energy to read again the full entry trying to figure out by myself what has changed. What would be really nice would be that the RSS reader shows a diff, highlighting the changes (as it's done for CVS commit diffs). Luke is very responsive to feedback, you should email him directly. It would be a nice feature to have but I have to say the "unread" filter is pretty much the only thing I use these days... --Cedric, March 19, 2004 04:39 PM
I use Bottom Feeder (written in Smalltalk!) and yes it has the same behaviour. --Graham King, March 23, 2004 01:07 PM
NetNewsWire, which runs only on the Mac, implements this since last august :-) P@ --patrick chanezon, March 29, 2004 02:13 PM
