Project navigation woes ...

I am certainly not unbiased but I'm finding navigating devlopment sites that don't use Maven irritating. I was interested in looking at the code for Blojsom and generally just wanted to poke around but found something other than a Maven generated site. As plain jane as the Maven generated sites are, it's easy to find things even if only from habit. It's actually been a while now since I've run across a Java project that's not using Maven. I wish I had collected a sample population of sites for Java projects before Maven was popular so I could easily contrast the before and after. The Maven generated site isn't going to win any graphic desing awards or dazzle anyone but you can find what you need to quickly. Unless, of course, you're Hani "Maven is the spawn of Satan" Suleiman :-) Nice to see your were interested in our code ;) We did the forest site for blojsom because a user did the work for us on their own. Neither Dave nor I have ever used maven. I guess I sholuld take a moment and see if it's as good as people tell me. --Mark Lussier, December 15, 2003 02:56 AM
